New Shareholders Announced

Array Healthcare Facilities Solutions is pleased to announce three new principal shareholders:

Sherri R. Bowman, Array’s Vice President for Marketing and Business Development, joined the firm in February 2005 and has focused on broadening the firm’s geographic reach and diversifying its client base.  Ms. Bowman brings over 20 years of experience in the design industry to the firm’s marketing, business development and communications activities.  “With her strong record of leadership, Sherri adds depth to our management team and has assisted us in refining how we relate our expertise to our clients’ specific needs,” adds Doug Lindsay, AIA, a founding principal of the firm and current President & CEO of Array.

George L. Shmidheiser, AIA, was hired in March 2005 as Vice President, Operations and brings the insights he has gained from the client perspective, having served as Director of Facilities Planning and Design for the Temple University Hospital and Health System for over 10 years prior to joining Array.  "George has staffed our three offices very efficiently and strategically - hiring employees with strong backgrounds and growth potential, allowing Array to enjoy significant growth," states Tony Merlino, AIA, founding principal of the firm, current Chairman of the Board and Quality Assurance Executive for Array.

Array’s third recently promoted shareholder is Ronald O. Pilgreen AIA.  He came to Array in October 2005 and offers over 30 years of experience in defining project and client requirements for large complex healthcare programs.  A strong client advocate who helps to build consensus among constituents, Mr. Pilgreen works closely with staff to manage budget and cost, ensure quality and bring projects in on schedule.   Carl Davis, Senior Vice President and CFO notes, “Ron approaches each client and engagement as if it is his only assignment.  Each project is infused with Ron’s quality leadership, healthcare expertise and budget mindfulness.”

Array, a planning, architectural and interior deign firm working exclusively in the healthcare market, places a priority on mentoring staff within the firm.  With over 90 employees and offices in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida, Array’s principals focus their efforts on mentoring staff to broaden employees’ expertise.  In addition to the three principals recently named, Array has internally promoted six individuals to the principal level in the past five years, attesting to the firm’s emphasis on staff development and recognition of employee contributions to the firm.
