He realizes the impact that early planning decisions place on costs and how planning for managed growth contribute to a new hospital’s success and longevity. Doug is also a dedicated expert in emergency care design, with a thorough understanding of how key decisions in adjacency, room flexibility, circulation and treatment areas can dramatically affect the care delivered to patients undergoing trauma or shock. He has developed pediatric emergency suites, top-level trauma centers, and community emergency departments in addition to expansive emergency centers in new and state-of-the-art hospitals. |
